One connected APX operation APX Connect contains products, inventory and API integration. The order originates inside APX, which sends EDI 850 to the trading partner and separately syncs an order copy to the ERP System through the API. The ERP does not initiate the 850. The partner returns 855 acknowledgments, 856 ship notices and 810 invoices to APX, which then syncs each update to the ERP. A separately recorded goods receipt updates inventory inside APX.
